Are you ready Office Chicks...here I come!

Here I am, up at silly o'clock, raring to get back to zapping those baked beans and frozen pizzas - safe in the knowledge that I wont be scaring any old biddies with any stray chicken fillets, as my lumpy bits are all ME!

Cant wait to see you girls......now where is that blooming locker key, my work boots...my green jacket....????? *sigh*

OMG....did I actually leave the house looking like this??????

Its been a funny old week - craft-wise, secret projects are underway so I cannot share those with you just yet. There has been much pain - a bad head, not helped by my magic head pills hiding themselves under a pile of stash, and the gestapo at the surgery not issuing me with more! Then there was a visit to the physio....they are supposed to EASE your pain yes? Well, I thought he was being very kind attending to my jippy hip. Thats not what I go for...I go for some TLC on my boob, so I thought wow...he's going beyond the call of duty here...how cool! NOT cool - he savaged me! I am now bruised and very very sore...and judging from my grunts and groans when sitting down or attempting to stand up, he has done me very much more harm than good. I go back in 2 weeks.....Im not letting him near my hips, and I will be going armed with pokey tools which will be brandished should he hurt me again!

Anyway, lets end the week with a laugh I thought...as I came upon this photograph - which, I might add...I cannot believe I am sharing with you!

Whats with the hair - was that EVER in fashion??? They clearly hadnt invented Friz-eaze back then! The specs, well...I loved those and am waiting for them to come back in fashion - you could see the whole world with specs that big! The denim jacket - if only you could see the back - I was into OTT crafting even back then....and it might be worth mentioning that this was way back in the late 80's/early 90's - not last week, and my jacket was embellished with padded stars, gems, embroidery...oh, all sorts! It went in the Salvation Army bin when I moved here...I bet someone was made up to find that gem in their local charity shop(?) ha ha ha!

Anyway, I thought I was the bees knees back then - I wonder if we will look back at todays photos and think aaaaaggggghhhh!

Have a good weekend folks, Lesley and I are off to Colemans Warehouse tomorrow (oops later today) - yipeeeeee!

ps: the cute little bubble car wasnt mine...it was a car show over at Billing Aquadrome - I dont think my hair would have fitted in it anyway!

And they called it.....

...Puppy Love!

Over on docrafts we take turns to set monthly challenges - this month it was Alma's turn, and this was her criteria:

The title of your page should be a song title.
Use 3 patterned papers.
Use 2 plain papers (okay, I used 3 of these)
Ribbons or yarn of any kind.
There must be 3 of something (mine was...3 P's in the title lol!)

Here is a little slideshow of my efforts - I did a double layout, and just check out those homemade bones!

Thank you for the challenge Alma, I had great fun with it!

Daisy 1 Mouse 0

Aw...bless this jolly scene of cross-specie happiness! 'I'll chase you around for a bit' thinks Daisy, and the mouse thinks this is such fun - so much so, that even when it has made a very effective escape, (clearly not realizing the inevitable fate that awaits it) ...it comes back out to play!

Daisy brings it indoors to play at one point - it nearly ran under the freezer. Good job it wasnt a week or two ago, or it would have drowned there and then after the great defrosting event resulting in a flooded hall....but no, his time wasnt up quite yet!

Daisy was 'encouraged' to take her friend back out into the garden to play - which she did - I dont think she could take my squeals any longer...and then Bubbles joined in - it was a bit like mouse badminton there for a bit! Now, Im not into animal cruelty...but cats will be cats, and I dont want a flipping rodent getting at all my pretty paper - perish the though, so Im sorry...I wasnt intervening in this particular battle!

The last I saw..the mouse had escaped once again - under the shed, perfectly safe there you would think. So why didnt it just stay there???

Imagine my sorrow (not) when I peeped down the hallway, and mouse was back - but the kitties werent interested any more....on account of the fact that the mouse wasnt playing back....

Night night mouse!
