A grand day out at Colemans!

Phew...where are we, Thursday...and Ive only just summoned up enough energy to write about our antics last Saturday! What a day we had...Sue, Mandy and Tina ventured in from St Neots, Margaret from Derby, and along with us locals - myself Babs and Cheryl - we took Colemans in Rushden by storm lol! Never has the saying 'shop 'till you drop' been more appropriate.....fill basket, pay, load up car....go back in shop, more in basket (having seen interesting goodies in Margarets basket that I NEEDED), pay, load up car.....then, all head off to the pub for lunch followed by....you guessed it, back in shop, even more in basket, pay...go and collapse in the car he he!

My little slide show below shows the gang at the pub, Sue and Mandy drooling...over stash and cake, the lovely Cheryl & Babs (with her mush full of cake!), all the lovely stash I bought, AND the wonderful gifts Sue and Mandy gave to me - the cutest birdie album from Sue, and a wonderful altered jar caddy & dangly from Mandy - thank you girls, they will be treasured!

There were many highlights to the day - meeting the girls was tops, and speaking to Gina on the phone was another - what a lovely Welshy accent you have! The funniest moment was when Tina made it to the checkout to find she had spent about £118! We all broke out in a round of applause - Im sure strangers joined in, it was so funny! Good on ya Tina - a brilliant haul of stash there! No wonder Mr Coleman himself was wandering around with a big smile on his face! Cheryl had me in hysterics telling us all about her virtual farm on Facebook - oh, what a disaster...her hubby had cocked up their internet, and she was in a blind panic as her crops needed harvesting. She had to ring round for help...but sadly her raspberries had 'had it'...aw! Her hubby is now known as the raspberry murderer!!!

There's nothing better than meeting up with new friends and old, stash shopping and having a good old laugh! I know I over-did it...Ive been like a zombie for days, but hey, it was SO worth it - thank you for a lovely lovely day girls!!!
